200 km/h in the Wrong Lane is the first English-language studio album released by t.A.T.u.. The album has gone gold in the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as diamond in Japan.
The album was recorded in 2002 after the group had released their European hit album, 200 Po Vstrechnoy.
Two different version were released in Japan. The second edition contained two discs. The first one being the album, with a new bonus track (Ne Ver, Ne Boisia), and the second one being a DVD with the All The Things She Said, Not Gonna Get Us, and How Soon Is Now? videos. This version was released with a sleeve featuring all-new artwork and it included a bonus sticker-sheet.
The song "Show Me Love" was intended as a single, but was replaced with How Soon Is Now?, a limited release that didn't top any important charts; despite this, "Show Me Love" was still featured on the 'greatest hits' album, The Best
On The Best CD, only the Japan cover is shown on the back part of the booklet (where all single CD's and studio albums covers are shown), the Russian cover of the CD doesn't appear, though the Original and Japanese Obi Cover, did appear.
