Warner Bros. has unleashed the full-length domestic trailer for the Wachowksi Brothers' Speed Racer. Get your first look at the new trailer for the film that hits theaters and IMAX on May 9th.
The masterminds behind the 'Matrix' bring the beloved '60s anime cartoon to life on the big screen. Forget the bleak Neo-centric vision of the future; this is more Andy Warhol meets the Jetsons. Watch Speed as he battles corruption in the racing industry and his mysterious rival.
The silver screen adaptation stars Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon and Matthew Fox. Based on the classic 1960s series created by anime pioneer Tatsuo Yoshida that later was retooled for North American audiences, the film follows the adventures of the young race car driver Speed in his quest for glory in his thundering gadget-laden vehicle, Mach 5.
