 The Gathering Production NotesA drifter named Cassie (Ricci) is hit by a car while going to the town of Ashby Wake and ends up losing her memory, but the woman who hit her offers to take her in. At the old house, Cassie begins to have visions, as she learns that there may be more connections between her and the strange town than she remembers.
An American backpacker traveling through an English village accepts help from a family after becoming involved in a car accident. Things turn spooky though when the girl begins to hallucinate and believes strangers are following her.
Has she been cursed with second sight or is this simply a result of the concussion she received during the car accident? Could this have anything to do with the first-century church that has just been unearthed in the nearby countryside?
Set in rural England in present day, "The Gathering" centers on a first century church that is unearthed near an English countryside town, where a remarkable and sinister mural is found. At the same time, a young American backpacker (Ricci) traveling through an English village finds herself involved in a car accident and gladly accepts help from a female driver and her family only to become drawn into their troubled lives.
In the aftermath of the accident, the girl begins to hallucinate and believes terrifying strangers are following her, putting into question as to whether the images are from a concussion or a newly found gift of second sight, both of which might be connected to the church.
