Four girls who attend the same school without really knowing, or more importantly, without really wanting to know each other, are thrown together one day when an enigmatic, female drifter enters their school and their lives. Brash and gutsy Legs Sadovsky crashes into their biology class just to get out of the rain.
Later, when Legs discovers that one of the girls is being sexually harassed by her teacher, she encourages them to teach him a lesson he will never forget. Punished for standing up for themselves, the girls unite, forming a bond that transforms each of them forever. Together they rebel against the system and make a bold statement about modern female relationships and empowerment.
Based on the popular novel by Joyce Carol Oats, Foxfire is the telling story of Maddy (Heather Burress), Rita (Jenny Lewis), Violet (Sarah Rosenberg) and Goldie (Jenny Shimizu) as they struggle for independence and identity.
